A Little Lore…

Mina Eren Ozgu is a digital media coordinator, specializing in social media marketing, individualized brand strategy, and digital marketing trends. Raised in a tiny town in New Jersey, and studying at some of the top schools in the district, Mina continued her higher learning at Pace University in New York City. She graduated early with honors, earning a BA in Film & Screen Studies with a double minor in Communications & Sociology.

While in high school, Mina was the varsity volleyball manager for four years, founder of her high school’s film club, maintained two part time jobs and volunteered with the Undeniable Life’s PowerSquad all while maintaining a high GPA and rigorous course load.

Mina carried her natural ability to flawlessly juggle multiple responsibilities all throughout her collegiate career. With gainful employment in three different levels of marketing, Mina worked in a sales & customer service role for DivaDance New York, she was (and still is) the digital marketing director for Carpet Culture, and she is currently a digital media coordinator for Inked Magazine.

It is through this hands-on and multi-pronged approach that Mina gained a holistic, well-rounded understanding of marketing. She is able to seamlessly understand the desires of both audiences and clients in order to increase engagement, revenue, and brand awareness.

While social media will always be Mina’s bread and butter, her role at Inked is a bit more widespread than just that of your average social media manager. Mina has successfully managed, grown, and maintained a total of 15 different accounts throughout her time at Inked Magazine. She has also designed and led multiple digital campaigns, compiled analytics and data based on Inked’s social media statistics on a quarterly basis, written for both Inked Magazine & Rebel Circus in the roles of web editor & staff writer, executed the functions of an assistant producer for Inked’s YouTube channel, and routinely handles communications between clients and talent affiliated with Inked Magazine.

Pop-culture and entertainment is Mina’s first love, but it is through her unique understanding of pop-culture’s vital role in society that allows her to interpret and execute successful social media strategies & digital media market trends in an effective and curated manner.

Outside of work, Mina enjoys reading, making her way through various streaming platform catalogues, and hunting for the best hole-in-the-wall coffee shops in NYC.
